After a dominant win over Albany, the Orange stayed home to face the Liberty Flames, a team that took down Syracuse handily a year ago, led by breakout star quarterback Malik Willis.

Willis returned, but not the same result. The Orange blew a 21-7 lead to have things tied at 21-all, but a 35-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt was good, and the Orange celebrated an impressive 3-1 start.

Revenge sure is sweet.
